Autumn Window Star - Art Every Day Month - Day 2

This is the second day of Art Every Day Month. Yesterday I made a window star for Thanksgiving, and decided to make one today so there's another one for the holiday.

The colors remind me of leaves on the trees and ground. Some of the maple trees still have brilliant red and yellow leaves. The birch trees have the gold leaves speckled with brown. And my favorite oak tree has leaves that are a rich brown.

In my Thanksgiving decorations bin, there should be several stars from last year that I made for Thanksgiving. However, it is always nice to have some new patterns and colors to add to the holiday decor. Now there are two new window stars for Thanksgiving this year thanks to Art Every Day Month.

They are wonderful! And what a treat for the eyes to gaze out the window and see such a rich play of colours.

Those are lovely! Like little mandalas. I could see meditating with them as a focus quite easily. Great to meet you through AEDM!

i love these, so very pretty. I like seeing the overlapping paper change colors and darken ever so slightly.

Those are lovely! I have been wondering for a while: how do you attach them to the window? A special glue, or thread? I can't seem to figure it out...

I am starting to covet these quite badly... the light refracting through them is just amazing... that window is going to be stunning as you fill it with more of them xx
