For this week's P52 challenge, the theme is "water." As I looked back on the pictures I took during the past week, there were many pictures that had water in them.
Sophia, Olivia, and I went on a farm tour on Sunday that featured four CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) farms and one pick-your-own farm in Osceola, Wisconsin.
One farm that we visited had a variety of ponds with waterfalls. In one pond, there were beautiful pink flowers on lily pads. The picture below is from that farm.
Another farm had a beautiful waterfall that gradually made its way to the St. Croix River. We walked down the steep embankment to a creek. Logs had been put across the creek so people could cross it. Doing so gave us each a wonderful view of the waterfall.
At the same farm, there were rare-breed pigs that had curly black hair. They were spending time in the mud and water; and seemed to enjoy the coolness of the mud compared to the heat of the day.
We had a great time; and, for all of us, we enjoyed the water features of each farm the most.
