A - Art - Go to the Minneapolis Institute of Art. (Also went to Caponi Art Park in Eagan on Sunday, June 18th. See HERE.)

D - Dog Hiking - Find a place that we haven't been to before and take the dogs hiking. Alternatively, take a day trip to Duluth with the dogs.
E - Explore something at a nature center - Could be done in Arizona on our trip or locally.
F - Franconia Sculpture Park - Explore the park.
G - Geology - Blue Mounds State Park (Luverne, MN). From the state park's website, "From a distance the Sioux quartzite cliff within this park appears to blue. This geological formation is about 1.5 billion years old, and was probably formed in a shallow sea."
Do this is a family day trip with the dogs.
H - Hopkins Raspberry Festival - Fair and arts activities on July 15th or parade on the 16th.
I - Ice Cream - make a new flavor of homemade ice cream or go out for an ice cream treat.
J - Jungle - Go to Como Zoo and see what animals would live in the jungle.
K - Kites - Minnesota Kite Society Fun Fly on Sunday, July 16th from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Oak Land Junior High School (820 Manning Avenue North in Lake Elmo).
M - Minnesota State Capitol - go on a free tour of the newly-renovated capitol.
N - Needlework - go to Ingebretsens to take a class about how to make singlade balls. From the course description: "Kate Sterner teaches you how to make singlade balls, traditional hand-stitched balls made from wool yarn. It's a lovely way to make a toy for a child or a cat, and to use those colorful bits of yarn in your stash. This rare handcraft is found in Denmark and southern Sweden. Kate learned from her Danish grandfather and has created a website dedicated to preserving and furthering this craft.
"Join Kate and have fun keeping a tradition alive. Bring wool yarn and a darning needle. $30. All classes are Saturday mornings from 10 to noon. July 8 and 15."
O - Osceola Rhubarb Days - There are activities on both June 2nd and 3rd. (DONE: Went to an outdoor picnic, Farmers Market, and to Mr. Deals on June 2nd.)
P - Prayer Beads at White Bear Center for the Arts. (DONE: Did this on June 8th.)
Q - Quiet Day at the library - taking a class and checking out books. There are quite a few classes that look interesting for teens and adults this summer. These are marked on my calendar along with the date that registration opens (if applicable).
R - Ramsey County Fair - Friday, July 14th.
S - Science Museum in St. Paul - The Science Behind Pixar opens on June 9th.
T - Tea Party at Panola Valley Gardens - this is the schedule for 2017:

U - Underwater - visit a pool or lake to go swimming.
V - Victoria, Minnesota - Go to Lowry Nature Center. From the LNC website: "Lowry Nature Center, the first public nature center built in the Twin Cities, is a beautiful, prairie-style building nestled in the middle of the Carver Park Reserve.
"The 250-acre interpretive area surrounding the building features hiking trails that weave between diverse habitats, including lakes, tamarack swamps, cattail marshes, oak and maple / basswood forests, and 'Habitats,' an outdoor education exhibit, and play area."
W - Wood burning - Take a class at the Wyoming Center for the Arts. (DONE - Did this on June 15th.)
X - X marks the spot. Create a treasure map and the girls have to follow clues and the map to find what we are doing.
Y - Yogurt Making - use the yogurt maker and see if we can make yogurt that tastes good. Add freshly-picked berries that we pick this summer. (DONE - Did this on June 8th.)
Z - Minnesota Zoo - Visit the Kangaroo Crossing and other areas of the Zoo that we didn't see in March.
